To create a personal player graphic from scratch.
With the logo and player image I was assigned
to build my own style for this project.
When starting this project I had all kinds of ideas. I first took the image and made a cut out of the player so there was no background. I then looked through different free stock images and gathered ones I believed would fit well for this piece. After messing around with different styles I found the one I thought would best represent the grit and grind you go through as an individual player, that is why I chose the image of the ice with skate marks and ice shavings because it really works both emotionally and visually as a design. I completed the design with a paper ripple effect which allowed me to place both the logo and the players names in the right place giving it that visual hierarchy.
